Finnegan’s Wake : a short fiction as prose

a lisping duck 

sat alone

in an airport Irish bar

and nestled his draught stout

creamy and cold

though it was

to be sure

to be sure

he’d really flown in

for the quack

and it’s lack 

of same

annoyed him

almost as much

as his bill
