for a five minute

eternity

he stood

impatiently

eager to see

the little strip

of monochrome shadows

wondering if

it would mirror

his best side

or expose

his worst.

  1. This is exactly like thoughts that run through my head. And I actually hate having pictures taken wondering if someone could read my insides through them.

    1. I always write from a personal point of view but am always happy when others see something familiar in anything I put out there, so happy this happened in this instance, thanks for reading and extra thanks for commenting
